Tek Lumber

Tek Lumber represents a new concept of wood stoves capable of telling meaningful stories. Inspired by wood logs this stove brings a more natural atmosphere to the living room. The goal was to transfer nature into the habitat of the consumer, as a reminder of the wood that burns inside the stove. Steel pipes contrast with wood giving form to this everyday product that is eye catching and conveys new charisma to wood burning stoves.

Reverence

Designed as a sustainable tea brewer, Reverence is an energy and resource efficient teapot that combines traditional and modern elements in a harmonious way. The lower water pot is comprised of two chambers which are insulated with perlite between. Therefore, similar to a flask, the water is kept hot for a longer period even after it’s removed from the oven. With an inclined form that resembles the serving gesture, Reverence tea brewer is ready to serve for tea lovers.

CAST

The stoves were created using cast-iron and long-lasting material which conveys, in some way; a retro touch belonging to past aesthetics, recalling wood stoves and the memory of cooking on the fire. Stoves can be modern and traditional at the same time; they are clean, efficient and have a highest level of functionality. The gas burners are of the latest generation and combine design with efficiency. We wanted to re-dress an existing product with a new, desirable quality.

CAST

The hood was developed to perfectly integrate within the exiting architectural structure of the kitchen, but also to be coherent with the full range of appliances. The minimal gesture of the hood aims to update and extend its standard use, allowing the user to perform other functions at the same time. The hood was designed as parallelepiped in which a section was subtracted in order to be used as a shelf for storing various objects and tools. It is an optimization both in terms of functionality and technology.

The Coanda

The Coanda, designed by Constantino Papatsoris and Santiago Castillo, is a smart, connected ceiling fan that communicates with smartphones via a dedicated app. Users can toggle the built-in LED light fixture, control location or time-based "on" and "off" settings, airflow intensity, automated temperature optimization based on seasonal changes, and communication with smart thermostats to reach optimal temperature and energy savings. The Coanda rethinks the traditional ceiling fan design, accounting for fluid dynamics and inspiration provided by computer fans and industrial air amplifiers.

CAST

The oven was designed to be integrated within the wall and is characterized by a flat surface. A recessed edge that runs the perimeter of the oven works as a handle. This choice was driven by the unpleasant presence of standard handles in common ovens, which often represent a contrasting visual element with respect to the existing kitchen’s furniture and style. This minimal look was made possible thanks to Beko's touch screen display technology which allows the user to interact with the appliance.
